iPods-iPads in the Classroom
The Curriculum-Instructional Technology Departments collaborated in obtaining a grant to purchase 40 iPod touches in 2009. There is one set of 28 and one set of 12 iPod touches that the ITTs have been checking out to use with teachers and classes.
We will have additional sets of iPads and iPods for checkout by the ITTs for the 2011-2012 school year.
Several teachers and parents requested a list of the applications we've been using so they could purchase them for their personal iPods, iPads, and iPhones. Some of the applications are free, others cost anywhere from $.99 to about $5.00
Many thanks to Lindy Kinn and Tricia Yocum for typing up explanations about the applications and their curricular uses.
