The 2010 State Junior Olympic Rifle Competition (JORC)Qualifying match will be held the weekend of Dec 10-12. The match times have not yet been released, so I wanted to give all of you a "heads up" to reserve that weekend. This is a wonderful opportunity, shooters from across the state will come to Fairbanks for the competition. All our students are eligible and encouraged to enter the match. Students who shoot certain scores (see JORC Program) at this match are automatically qualified and will receive an invitation to go to the Olympic Shooting Complex in Colorado for the National Competition in April. Students who shoot the state qualifier score will most likely be able to qualify and go. As I receive more information, I will keep you appraised.
